Staff Sgt. Shimon-Elroee Ben Shitrit z'l - "Love must fill the heart – for all."

Shimon-Elroee, son of Rafael (Rafi) and Iris, brother to Oriah, Yahel, Naorah, and half-brother to Lihia Esther. He grew up in Beit She’an and was a loving uncle to seven nieces and nephews. Served as a combat soldier in the Border Defense Corps, 414th Battalion, as a surveillance balloon operator. He was known for his bright smile, kindness, and humility. He was creative, talented, and full of imagination, a gifted musician and knowledgeable in many areas. Friends described him as someone always there for others. Fell on October 7th defending the homeland. He was 20 years old.
