If I had a double, I’d get twice as much done.

Nadav (Nadi), son of Michal and Doron, brother to Yonatan and Roni. Served as a tank gunner in the 77th Battalion, 7th Armored Brigade. He was known for his captivating smile, unique mix of talent, cheerfulness, kindness, and a fun-loving spirit. He loved all music, from classical to competitive rap. He played soccer and basketball. He was a dedicated meat-lover, loved the sea, and was known for getting everywhere in his signature golf cart. His Merkava Mark 4 tank was a source of pride. The message he left comes from his WhatsApp status. He was 20 years old when he fell.

In this heartfelt tribute, Rabbi Efrem Goldberg reflects on the life of Staff Sergeant Nadav Cohen, a young man who lived with courage, conviction, and an unwavering commitment to his country. Nadav gave everything in service of others, embodying the highest ideals of bravery and selflessness. Rabbi Goldberg’s message reminds us that true legacy is built not through words, but through meaningful action. As we remember Nadav, we are called to live with compassion, humility, and purpose, to become doers who carry forward his values and make a positive impact in our own lives and communities

What a beautiful young man. His spirit of service, drive to accomplish, love of music, and kind and shining face will live on in the memories of his family, friends, and עם ישראל. I wish his family comfort in his legacy. זכרונו לברכה Erica Goldman, Portland, Oregon
