Alina, daughter of Olga and Michael and sister to Daniel. She grew up in Haifa and served as district and authority officer in the Home Front Command, preparing Negev residents for emergencies. She volunteered at Magen David Adom from a young age and dreamed of becoming a doctor. On October 7th, she was serving as a duty officer at Urim base; when terrorists infiltrated, she protected her soldiers with her body, fired at the terrorists, hit several, and was killed by a grenade. She was a redhead, affectionately called “Orange Heart.” She was 23 years old when she fell.

In this heartfelt Dvar Torah, Yigal Nisell honors the memory of Captain Alina Pravosudova z”l. He reflects on the cyclical nature of the Torah and life, urging us to live with purpose, not routine. Alina's words challenge us to recognize our strength and move mountains of fear, doubt, and injustice. Her legacy calls us to approach life and mitzvot with joy, passion, and mission. In her memory, we are inspired to live with ambition, courage, and a heart full of meaning.

Alina was an incredible human being, and in her young life she must’ve inspired many of her peers to live boldly, selflessly, and courageously . זכרונה לברכה
